Two large hand raised asymmetric tapered Beakers in Britannia Silver. The larger Beaker is 12cm high, and weighs 392 grams, whilst the slightly smaller beaker is 11.3 cm high and weighs 359 grams. Both beakers are made from thick gauge silver – hence their significant weight – and both are gilded inside to approximately 3 cm below the top rim. The exceptional gilding together with the hammered pattern to the inside of the beakers creates a wonderful ‘radiance’ from these pieces. Both beakers have full Edinburgh Assay Marks (see photograph) and are both date-marked for 2007.
